You guys got recommendations for oil containers? Resolved to working on my car while it's in the garage during lockdown, starting with an oil change. I'm looking for something that doesn't leak at all. The last container I had leaked horribly, and I'm not finding anything on Amazon.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Use one of these;

Or use the new oil container you fill in to the car via a drip tray;

When I lived in California, the official oil container was plastic screw top gallon jugs, the exact same they use for milk. Recyclers would only accept these containers.

Liquid laundry soap jugs work well and usually have a large mouth that's easy to pour into from a catch pan.
Still use it for the motos.

Since I got a FuMoto valve, I drain it direct back into the last oil jug I saved in the corner.

Hm... custom wheels I've ordered gonna be a bit heavier than I've expected (still light). Manufacturer claim final production ver will be more lighter.

See how it goes

If you are saying you need an oil pan to drain into, idk. You need 6 quarts at least.

If you need something to put the the old oil into after you drain it, you could use the oil bottle that the new oil came in?

If yes, just use the turkey roaster pan - just make sure your wife don't catch you.

Clean it out good or don't blame me if your gravy taste like motor oil next thanksgiving -

Seems that's the general consensus on this forum, and likely what I'm gonna do. The last time I tried it though (a long time ago), oil just spewed out all over the place. Maybe I did something wrong.

I've been on the fence with the Fumoto valve simply because I look at it and think "is that not going to shear off on a lowered car?" I've heard at least a few accounts of that happening.

I'll think about getting one, though.

Unfortunately (or fortunately?) I'm not married.
