Found a small header leak, took everything apart and added some gasket maker to help seal it.

Ended up doing a while I was back in there mod and installed matching gruppe-s OP.

So, I put it on my charger for about a half a day and it has perked it up nicely and has lasted all week.

Works sort of like Viagra - if you ain't too far gone.
My beloved factory battery is also toast. All good things...

Bubba says to put it on a stump out in the sunshine for a day and it will be as good as new. He said he read that on the internet -

Never used Bubba's method but I have used aspirin in a real pinch although it only works with a flooded battery I believe.

Makes sense. Need some free radicals in there. I've been watching a single cell slowly sulfate over the last couple years. Wish that I could get ahold of another Panasonic battery for the "keep it original" satisfaction.

That, and I've grown to be a huge fan of Panasonic in general. I came to recognize their unique dedication to product design and documentation decades ago. They remain true to their philosophy still.

Well, Bubba don't believe in logic. He says that if putting a jug of water, with tea bags in it, on a stump, in a clearing, in the direct sunlight, makes good tea, then it should be good for a battery.

Ok, now that makes sense. I'll go pull my battery and wait for some sun. Should be good around June.
