Don't have a picture yet, but a friend from work passed away last year in her 90s. My wife got a notice from a local firm that does estate sales that her family had scheduled a sale at her house. After pictures of the usual items we accumulate over the years, the last set of pictures were from the garage. In it is a mint condition 1965 Mustang GT Convertible. The license plates are dated 1965. For the 20 years I knew her, I never knew her to own or drive a car. I suspect it will fetch a substantial price.

Gary Numan. Few here will know of him. I got my driver's license when In Cars was really big and had the LP as well.. He lives in Cali now I thought. Not like Billy Idol who still has the same 80's look, incredibly well preserved, mind you. Another big one at that time was XTC. I loved The Specials, and Elvis Costello. Now I just love his wife, if she ever becomes available. Only in the later 80's I began to delve really deep into progressive rock, mostly British. Gentle Giant, Yes, Jethro Tull and several others. I've spent the last few years really absorbing musical history, and the UK hold a disproportionately large place in the contemporary music stage.

The Specials, still sound great.. my claim to fame, I bumped into Neville, he mistook me for someone he had met in a club a few nights before... Seen Terry Hall too, driving what looked like a Nissan Laurel or something as bland..

So much on YouTube now. I can watch it on my TV all day.

I remember very clearly playing along to the Specials on my first drum kit back in '81. I was introduced to the band by my geography teacher, 1980 in high school, who discussed the theme of Ghost Town to the class, racial tension that existed in the UK in those years. Watching the Detectives by Elvis Costello go me into Ska. Or maybe Desmond Decker's, The Israelites when I was a really little kid (maybe 5) we had it in a 45 single.

Couldn't get a picture as I was driving and my phone wasn't readily available, but saw a procession of cars heading up I-185 in Georgia today that consisted of 4 C8 Corvettes, 1 Lambo Huracan convertible, several Audi R8s, several Jag F-Types, and a couple of Ferraris (not sure the models).

This morning was my first spotting of the new Ferrari Roma. I am hoping it's a local car, next time I'll get some pics.

It looks good, much better than the California..

Ive actually seen a couple of these recently. One red, one silver.

They never sold these up here in Canada. All of them that show up must have come from the US.

I touched a McLaren 570s yesterday.
Smaller then I expected, they look way more imposing in pictures.
