Same here, the weight surprised me because i didn't realize how weighted the stock one was, but overall i like this one MUCH better.

Grabbed a shot of the car last night as i filled it up for the first time

Also got some time to throw the Perrin mini antenna on, i think it looks heaps better than the stock one.

Still waiting on parts to come in so i can move forward :/ also deciding on my wheel and coilover setup soon...

How would you guys feel about a 17x9.5 square setup?

Well i had the day off from work the other day so i decided to take time to work to do something on the car.

It started the day as a dirty Scion FR-S, it ended the day as a clean TOYOTA

Thanks! I'll be sure to get around to it once i can, it's currently trapped in the garage by a couple tons of backyard remodeling materials and equipment

But it's been the perfect opportunity to do some real work on it

Last weekend was the first time i'd gotten to give the car a proper, full hand wash and it really made me appreciate the color i chose, the metallic in the Asphalt looks fantastic!

I also installed the Toyota clear side markers, then headed to my first local meet since buying the car! I think the clear lenses really unify the front end (which is why i took the first picture the way i did) and don't break up the lines of the car like the eye-sore orange OEM lenses.

One of the only things that bugged me about the FR-S after living with it for a while was the vast expanse on the inside of the trunk that was littered with wires, and it made me wonder why there wasn't a panel there.

Well last week on the forums i found out that the BRZs came with a panel there, so i decided to order one for my car. Now i'm not embarrassed to open the trunk
