I really want to rebadge...but the steering wheel is kinda stopping me at the moment. Debating what to do about the Scion emblem there. Possible to rebadge it with the toyota emblem sure....but I really really dont want to cut up an airbag at a junkyard...not sure if Id be able to get away with it really....Thats really the only thing stopping me at the moment. Any advice?

Yeah its is fairly easy, you don't have to replace your airbag or buy a new one, you just need the emblem from an airbag cover. I ordered mine off of ebay. Just take your time and dont rush it.

I have seen pictures of it removed, however I did not remove it myself, I purchased a new head unit because I wanted one with built in GPS, so it sort of killed two birds with one stone so to speak. Sorry I can't help more =/

Its not hard if you have a dremel and know how to use it....

As for the Radio...Ive only seen it removed on one FR-S and the finish was removed with the SCION....so Im still searching. Dont need GPS in my dash...bluetooth works and I have a garmin. 1 less reason for someone to break into the car.

It's easy to remove the front bezel and the pcb on the backside. You can always lightly sand it down and spray it matte or gloss. Just an idea.
