You, qcbaker, must be new to this forum.

Maybe I missed it, but where did rvoll claim that there was something wrong with the twins?

I guess it's like "good cholesterol." Still, I don't want even good body roll in my sports coupe.
I've driven a miata back to back to my FR-S and yes, the miata does lean a bit on the curves (body roll) but that's just the way its suspension works.

If Mazda wanted it to NOT have body roll, they would have put an RX7 front anti sway bar on it for the same cost. Or the owner can do that for about $100 and 30 minutes worth of time.

Call me old fashioned but I always felt more stable on the curves with my miata, when it was leaning a little bit, rather than my FR-S that doesn't lean hardly at all - go figure -

Jesus, take it easy man.

What I mean by "POOR" referring to my "BABY" FRS.

Maybe give it a read and see if I'm misunderstanding.

Door vent: 'Tada told us will help with brake cooling, and "maybe downforce too."'

I did read it originally and it was just as garbage as I was expecting. I recommend nobody click that link and give this vomit the time of day.

Here's the excerpt in question:

Quote:
There's a vent just under the headlight, which seems to direct air over the front wheels. Tada says this will be removable in the production car, "in case the user wants to make a racing version." Additionally, there's a vent just above the front wheel on the hood, that Tada says is there to increase downforce. To us, it looks like a smaller version of what you'd see on a Porsche 911 GT3 RS or a Dodge Viper ACR.

On the door, there's an upswept line that flows really smoothly into the rear fender. That's also a vent, one that Tada told us will help with brake cooling, and "maybe downforce too." There's a big diffuser, which is functional. And that double-bubble roof design isn't just a callback to Toyota's first inline-six sports car, the 2000GT; it helps get air to the integrated spoiler mounted on the hatchback trunk lid.
What happened here, is someone (maybe the author, maybe the guy the author plagarized) took some out of context quotes to some specific and pointed questions, and added some make believe BS to try to get clicks because clicks make money. The BS is just there to get suckers to share it before thinking about it, and doesn't stand up to any logical thought process. In fact, I suspect the author goes around on car forums and hawks the digital vomit around.

Maybe so, but back-in-the-day, when I was young, we didn't like body roll either.

Maybe it reminds you of the tingling sensation that tells you that the medication is working?

Less is more

Toyota designed , but sounds like a heavy influence of BMW in the engine compartment. So it's not 100% true real deal Japanese?! Not sure if anyone really mentioned this yet (I haven't read it). It won't be like a Mark III or Mark IV Supra, 100% Japanese

Toyota said the 4cylinder supra is for people who want a cheap supra to swap out with a 2jz. It is not replacing the 86 they are offering 4cylinder engine in the supra for this reason!
