I'm excited to see this build myself. Down the road I plan a similar build myself. Just waiting on cams.

Captin Insano clip was so classic. Forgot how funny that part was lol.

Back to the thread... staying NA. For the sake of my warranty and the beautiful balance of the car. Recently tried a new tune, and very satisfied. This car, even with the slightest power increase is noticeably more enjoyable!

They still make power to 9k rpms though. Definitely more than 275 whp at 9k as well hehe.
He never said the WHP was not doable, he said the wtq number was, and with the way NA engines make power, he is right.

Also, this motor is no K series motor... really. Honda might be a lot of bad things, but they are the king of 4 cylinder NA motors.

Oh no i know that. He didn't specify exactly what he meant. To me, it seemed like he was saying it wouldn't have 275 tq at 9000 rpms. That's obvious because that's 470 whp.

Anyways, those all motor setups actually do make a bunch of torque. 220 ft/lbs is not uncommon, 250+ ft/lbs out of the big nasty stroker motors.

Block was dropped off at Accelerated Performance. Crank gets shipped out soon for some rework.
And I have spoken to Darton Sleeves. Case halves will be headed there way!
