Tangential? It's central to the theme. We are concerned about covid because it threatens our ability to treat other illnesses with adequate concern.

it wouldn't surprise me in the least if the only reason they've learned about the new strain is because they started vaccinating the original strain.

I wasn’t applauding what Spuds said on the basis of the literal content. Although, that was good. Whether he meant it or not, I was applauded him for beautifully acknowledging the literal post from 86TOYO2k17, while redirecting and ignoring the implication from 86TOYO2k17 that has been brought up. In case this is going over anyone’s head, or to explain what I was assuming was his point to his link, he seemed to be suggesting that the lockdowns are worse than COVID. An increase in overdoses and suicides has been a talking point for opening society.

I agree but I think it's not just reactions to crisis. Many people are poor at making long term plans. "That's too far into the future, I don't have to think about that now, I have things to worry about today."

Oh, I was 100% there. It was perfect because he closed on a note of genuine respect for the issue.

Got my shot. No reactions. I had to wait there for 30 minutes to make sure.

There were no coolers anywhere, so I asked what the deal was. They said they have an hour to deliver the vaccines once they are removed from the fridge.

Here is my card. It looks like I need my second dose within three months, or else I would need to start over.
