Where is the "Beeper" in the FR-S?

Like the title says: Where is the beeper that beeps when your lights are on, when your seat belt is not on, when your key is in the ignition and the door is open, and when it wants to annoy you. J/k

I want to disconnect the wire to it.

Thank you for any help in advance.

It appears to be a part of the display board (speedo, tach, etc). At least that's what I'm gathering from the electronics manual.

The buzzer is part of component D7 (Combination Meter Assembly). This means you'd probably have to desolder the buzzer from the display board.

Alternatively you could just put a piece of electrical tape or something over the hole in the buzzer. That should quiet it down a lot.

The dealer should be able to adjust the volume and maybe even disable (i can't recall if that was an option or not) with Techstream. It shouldn't cost anything.

Ha ha!!! One of my first posts... That wire I talked about clipping. (So easy!) Was in my Accord I owned 16 years ago. (pictured below) Cars were made simpler then... I Love working on my FR-S, and with the forums help, I didn't go clipping any wires. It's an integrated part of the display board, as mentioned.

Thanks for the revive, Ill go back to "slaying demons" lol

Oh, and more

So....
Really?
Gonna start that game again?
Wasn't really funny the first time all the old posts were revived. You think that has changed?
