The $145 one would look pretty nice if it actually fits and stays on. I have doubts.
$1200 for a spoiler on a street car is just plain silly but it will fit and stay there!

This is a good answer, and I don't disagree with you or away, but for this style spoiler, these are the only two options I've found.

The in between in terms of price would be the legsport ducktail.

Different people different tastes. That is way overstated for my eye. May work well with more aero but not sure what else you have done.

My personal opinion is that these cars need something back there since I do not like the plain trunk line. It looks unfinished and the back of the car seems stubby without something to extend it a bit. Both the BRZ or FRS stock ones do a nice job of adding that needed length for the eye but some of the big duckbills just go too far.

I haven't done anything else, but I'd like to get drivelabs diffuser (the more understated v.2) and a full lip kit. I don't like the little lip spoilers, so that Stillen is nice, but too small. I've glanced at the list but there's nothing there I like. It's either GTR or ducktail, both of which are limited options haha

Nope don't like that at all. It looks tacked on and although probably actually functional (on the a car that can use it) is not aesthetically pleasing to me.

Well then, if it was me in your shoes I would just go for the $145 one and either return it if the quality plain sucks, make it fit (if it doesn't) or live with any issues and consider it a life lesson. Who knows it could be great and the price is deceiving.
