Bought one of these for my FRS...

Cable is very short... can't route it through the passenger 12V

LOL rather not... if I was going to hardwire it I would not gotten a different kind. (The ones meant to be discreet and hard wired)

Swapped in some series blue fake carbon trim. ~170 bucks. Weave lines up perfectly and looks legit.

Is that just the 2015-2016 FR-S fake carbon fiber trim or are there any noticeable differences between this and the former?

they are different, the series blue has a wider weave.

actually looks like it was 130 now that i looked back at the receipt. thought he said 170 over the phone. but yeah i always sucked at arts and crafts so wrapping was out, and if the weave was even slightly off i'd be mad.

here are the part numbers for silver trim:
2013/2014 BRZ Silver Dash
Subaru Part #66060CA050
Subaru part #66077CA050

google says like 110-120 ish. I just called up my subaru dealer with the part numbers and they had it ready in 2 days.
