I'm gonna have to agree with P1lot. We can teeter the line but name calling isn't the way to get things done. I know shit sucks. My income has been affected badly too, and I've have a few people I know die from COVID. But as you've seen in this thread, there are those who are trolling like Lantana, or outright ignorant/selfish like that TommyW. It is what it is. I'd rather have a productive conversation than give into the "fishbowl" claims or "sheep mentality" to get everyone upset.

That's why I asked about the various strains of COVID as unless we know which is worse or not, people either assume it's nothing, made up, or more dangerous.

OK, but keep in mind firstly if you truly want your questions answered then you would probably do what I've done, and read, read, read and only from qualified sources. I do trust that my govt has good intentions but not everyone in the world knows how to navigate infectious disease. That's a doctor's job. I might want to DIY a spark plug change and discuss it here for fun and saving $, but posting random articles on a car website as some do or throwing out assumptions or uneducated guesses is counter productive. I feel it is necessary to encourage everyone I have the opportunity to, so we can get past this. And I have feelings too, I'm not AI.

Im pretty sure we won't all get cancer in 20 years from these vaccines. People that aren't in medicine or health science really ought to listen to the advice of their trusted family doctors. And if you don't, just like obesity or substance abuse you choose your own poison. Except this time it can affect everyone. Does that sound too socialist for you? It has nothing to do with money and who cares about money when you're... dead.

The huge irony is a vaccine passport requirement that could make someone who is so proud of their line of work forced to choose between career and...vaccine. Hilarious and popcorn sales would soar.
