First, thank you to everyone for the input. I know the original post is long winded and not formatted correctly. But thanks for being able to follow along. Stilll no new information from anyone that was here on the weekend.

The tow company is picking up the FR-S right now. And the chevelle wasn’t in the best shape. Good body lines but ton of rust everywhere. Needed to be dipped in tanks and washed or soda blasted the whole. It needs a frame off resto. But it was still driveable, decent suspension still, good motor with new replacement heads and new factory intake and carb ran perfect since my dad put them on in 99’. It was a project definitely.

Could have been the father that was visiting or even the mother in law whose house it was. The whole dynamic of the thing is confusing.

No word on anything yet. I thought I saw a car carrier drive through the neighborhood the other day. I remember the day of some kid walking by a couple of times alone then again with a small family. Could have been casing my place.
Ordered some Dahua security cameras. Better late than never.

DOGS should NOT be doing CATnip... it's a serious issue. Addiction is a disease.

Local PD found my chevelle today in a manufacturing area near my neighborhood. It was just abandoned on the street. It didn’t want to start, looked at it and it was lowon Gas and the hose to the water neck had popped off so there was no coolant. Added a a gallon of gas and some water and she fired up on the third try.

They drove it out of gas... damn that's kind of messed up. Some tweens stole a 89 Ford Taurus I had once. Similar thing, cops found it on a street in the city next door 2 weeks later (not completely out of gas though). Oddly though they didn't steal my sunglasses out of the glove box or the speaker out of my trunk so when they finally got arrested I let them take whatever deal the prosecutor gave them without a fight. (They stole the keys from a gas station where it was being worked on so no broken windows or anything like that either).

Chevelle stolen, parked out of gas. FRS stolen, curbed, returned to driveway. Your brothers or someone else at the party did it.

That was always the thing I didn't understand about this story. Why wouldn't they just ditch it and leave it? Driving a messed up car back to where you got it from would draw more attention to me

More than likely an insurance company will simply total it out, since they can make money parting out the car than getting it fixed. You can buy it back from whatever company buys it from the insurance company if you want to fix it. Most don't. Sad, we've lost so many 10-Series as it is.
