Long road trip report
Just got back from a pretty long road trip, Ottawa -> PEI, in the BRZ.
Some random thoughts for those that are interested. - Drove about 3000km on the trip. Most of those were the drive there/back with a couple of short trips to the golf course on PEI. Did the drive in 10 hour + 4 hour blocks with breaks for gas/food/bio-breaks. - Had the cruise set to either 120kph or 125kph for most of the trip depending on the province. Mileage was about 7.8 L/100km - The new car is MUCH more comfortable ride than the FRS, which was lowered on Tein Mono Sports. No surprise there. Many hours of seat time and no issues at all. Even the wife, who is picky about seats, was super happy with the seats. - Leisurely passing on two lane roads is super easy in 6th. Couldn't do that in the FRS even with a header/tune. Dropping a gear and passing with purpose is as you would expect. - A no speed limit weekend would have been super nice on that trip. |

Thanks jvincent for your report.
It was nice being able to read a post without having to do the unit conversions. I wish I could set my date format. regards Greg |
