*I'll take the chrome fender trim if you're just gonna toss 'em...* I can paint them a different color instead of the actual fender garnish...

so i had ordered a roll of alcantara and 1/8' foam because i knew that i wanted to get rid of all of that ugly silver trim.
i spend all night wrapping it all and this might have been one of the trickiest intalls I've ever had to do simply because this was my first time and wrapping curves and corners is incredibly hard. i now understand why JPM coach works stitches in the places they do. this isn't easy but i'm beyond happy with the results. i'll post some real pictures later, here are some cellphone snaps. i wrapped the silver dash pieces, the trim by the AC controls, the shifter surround, the steering wheel plastic, the circle vents, and also the door handles. |

Oh that really brings a different, very put together look. I love it! Don't like that the buttons stick out now, though.
I envision this a bit differently in my car if I could pay JPM to do mine: Alcantara the dash instead of the silver inserts; Alcantara shifter boot (titanium knob and reverse lockout); Alcantara right where you did it on the sides of the center stack; MAYBE the wheel and handbrake, but I'm not decided on those yet. Not sure where I want to leave leather, if it all. |

Ooh, another great interior interpretation! I see why they stitch their Alcantara, too. I'm not sure how they do it with a plastic backing, though? Nice work nonetheless!
I think I'm gonna do the dash piece in carbon fiber, paint the rest of the silver plastics with metallic ghost chrome paint, Alcantara headliner, sunvisors, and door panels (where there's perforated leather), and smooth leather steering wheel, gauge cluster hood, shifter and e-brake boot, and get the JDM kneepads and speaker covers. Titanium shift knob and metal reverse lockout as OrbitalEllipses mentioned. Interior's gonna look so classy! But I'll still only have 200hp, lol

i'd love JPM to do mine but i cant justify spending that much money. and i think it came out pretty well for my first time working with fabric. Quote:

update 3: i dont have the time to snap good photos, sorry but these quick cellphone snaps will have to do. today i rebadged the trunk, got rid of that damn chrome fender trim, swapped ALL bulbs to led and then hooked up the JDM rear foglight. the trim is mint and for sale if anyone is interested. |

How'd you get it off? Heat gun?
I was debating taking them off originally, but they grew on me. Now I'm kinda tired ofthem again. |
