Waiting to buy till there are enough interesting exclusives.

The only games I cared about really were Miles Morales and Cyberpunk. Ended up getting Miles Morales for my PS4 instead (though it can be upgraded to the PS5 version) and decided to return Cyberpunk after the bad reviews and feedback from friends who played it on PC.

We had a fun earthquake over here about an hour ago. Originally 4.5 but downgraded to a 4.2. For me it felt like 5-10 seconds of being on a boat in rough seas. Called someone who lives 50 miles north as soon as it stopped shaking, and as I was saying hi they were just feeling it. Crazy how earthquake waves travel.

Yep, today. Turns out my landlord had to come in anyway last minute because my downstairs neighbor had some kind of leak and initially they thought it was coming from my unit. Turns out it was coming from downstairs anyway, but since they had asked to come in I let them know about it.

Funny thing is that in the past when they've come in to replace the bulbs in that one and the other glass one in the hallway they've used their own bulbs but this time they complained how they can't get incandescents anymore and asked if I had any bulbs, lol.

i think a lot of the negativity of cyberpunk has to do with how they overhyped it for way too long.

if they had just lightly advertised it for 6 months before it came out, it would've just come to existence just the same as GTA 5. it was the delays and gestation period that really sent people over the edge once there were glitches in the gameplay, which with the complexity of game engines anymore, it's to be expected...

Why are incandescent bulbs a good thing? LEDs are getting cheaper every day.

I was going to buy it once some real games came out, by real I mean the new Elder Scrolls. But I decided to build a computer instead and make the switch. Why limit myself. The wait for a GPU being on stock for retail price and PS5 would be just the same. At the end, the experience would be way better with a PC. Yes, I’ll miss out on some exclusives, but I can do without.

Yeah I'm about to just start buying one component a month... I haven't built a tower in years. (Well I did a used parital build a couple years ago but that doesn't count)
