Stalling after ID 1050X install and new tune

Hi Guys, new member.

I recently bought a 13 brz with a JDL turbo kit.
It has a Omni 3 bar and was running stock fuel pump and injectors.

I bought ID 1050X injectors, DW 65c pump and a ecutek with a tune from delicious.

I知 having an issue with it stalling out after the rpms drop from the warm up.

Tested the fuel pump after I installed it and it idled fine.

I did do a couple dumb things - after I installed the injectors (before loading the tube) I cranked it and it started for a half second and died. Then I installed the tune and started it up and I got a really rough idle and code p062d. I didn稚 have the DI Ecu grounded - fixed that.

Now it will start but like I said it stalls out after 30 seconds. I知 guessing I dumped too much fuel when I tried to start it without the tune or could this be something else? I did buy the injectors second hand, the guy got them flow tested before I came out and showed me the photo. I知 going to log what I can and send it in tomorrow. Just wanted to see if anyone had any ideas that I could try.

inb4 someone says post the tune using datazap.
Not even sure if you can if the tune is locked though.

Too much fuel from before the tune is highly unlikely. It would never have run if that was an actual issue.
Is it still getting too much fuel? Maybe. No Wideband?

i just think it's the tune, big injectors need a good fine tuning for warm low load condition and delicious tune are just canned tunes naturally full of errors (as per discrepancy from target to actual values)
If you have a lighter flywheel is even worse

yes logs would help

Can confirm the ID1050 hate to run warm. after I shut my car off when hot, it sometimes takes 10-15 retries before I can get the damn car to start and idle again. real pain in the butt after a race when I'm stuck in impound and there are people behind me trying to leave.
this is with a local tuner and true dyno tuning as well. low load, low rpm just sucks with big injectors.

Condensation in the exhaust is completely normal, especially when the engine and exhaust aren't up to full operating temp. the main chemical products of burning fuel are CO2 and H2O. so until the car is driven hard enough to get the entire exhaust above 100C, you will have condensation out the tail pipe.

With some further investigation, I might not have loaded the rom correctly. This Brz was tuned by the previous owner.

Was I supposed to load the stock tune before the Delicious tune?

I got an error the first few times I tired flashing - ECU VIN () does not match ROM VIN.

I知 not sure what I did but the ROM started to load after a few tries,I watched the tach rise and followed the instructions.

I just tried to see if I could switch maps to verify it was loaded and it wouldn稚 switch

This is my first time attempting this.

If I go and load the stock rom and then try to load the tuned rom, would that work?

Please clarify.
Is the new tune for the ID1050X's?

You need a working tune for those injectors. Don't worry about anything else yet.

This is not my experience, whatever you're experiencing more than likely isn't the injectors. I am running them on my K24 swapped car, it idles like stock and there are zero issues starting hot on the scales at impound or anywhere else.

Are you still on the base tune? That will be the issue. You will need to do a cold start and log everything so they can fine tune it for you. Plus you will need to log pulls to verify the tune is good. Flash and go just means it will run. That is about it. Delicious does a lot of cars so they are good at getting close with the initial tune but you paid for a custom tune so get it.

Okay so here痴 new info

I have the tune for the 1050x. I thought it flashed but something must of happened during the process. Talked with delicious and they said to load the stock rom and then try the tuned rom.

Stock rom flashed fine but then when trying to flash the tune I知 getting an error - ECU VIN () does not match ROM VIN ( my vin)

I知 not sure what the previous owner used to tune.

This is a symptom of poor calibration, these injectors have great vaporization properties at both cold and high cylinder temps. The tuner just needs to spend more time learning about this platform, it sounds like.

Pretty sure Delicious is familiar with the platform.
Or do they have more than one person making the tunes now?
