Nameless 2.5" catted/resonated overpipe + Driveshaft Shop aluminum driveshaft

Greetings,

I just wanted to inform those of you who might be considering this combo, that it does not work. I have the Nameless overpipe and tried to install the driveshaft, but sadly it would not clear. Had to send it back and pay a 20% restocking fee.

I'm curious to see how/why it would not clear. I have the same driveshaft and I run a 2.75" overpipe/frontpipe combo and have plenty of room to clear it.

It would not clear because of where the Helmholtz resonator is positioned. I was told it could be cut and relocated elsewhere, but didn't want to modify the overpipe.

Why would you attach that to your exhaust?!

In all seriousness though, that is good to know. Thanks!

In order to answer this question, I will have to use a Level 2-3 strike of Ego Judo on you. It might tingle if you want it . In all seriousness though, this 86 platform, it's owners and the information on this forum has helped me a great deal during my build. Almost all my Google searches lead me here, so I decided to join and contribute.
