Would you ever sell your BRZ for a 10th Anniversary edition FR-S? [Be Honest]
I attended ToyotaFEST and got the opportunity to sit in a pre-preproduction model and it was not that different than my BRZ. In fact, I have always lusted for the FR-S's more aggressive front end and the JDM HIDs.
Would you consider selling your BRZ for the 10th Anniversary FR-S if it came in any color you wanted from the FR-S lineup (even though it only comes in Silver now)? I am very tempted. |

I wouldn't ever sell one item for a functionally identical item at a functionally similar price. There would have to be real benefit financially or in performance in order to justify that effort and loss of value (in selling a mostly new car on the used market).

I would not. The light up emblems are very cheesy looking to me.

Honestly...who can say until they see one in person...especially for color...I feel like those emblems are going to have some height to them over the regular emblem and make people stare at them for all the wrong reasons when they aren't lit. That shift knob looks like it'll make rattling plastic noises worse than the silver trim ring. Yes I know you can replace both but considering you're paying for them...I'm having a "not enough coffee" moment...are those headlights different or the same assembly? They look different...I do like the silver seatbelts though they aren't listed in the accessories list...still going ot have the weird dash pattern and red insert seats? I dunno but I'm still diggin my BRZ over any FR-S I've seen on the road. *2 cents*
That said...my Jeep is a special edition and gets attention everywhere it goes even after almost 10 years so I think the lucky 2500 buyers will be proud to own them. |

Light up emblems and no wrb.
Now if I could get the front end with the lights on a BRZ for cheaper than the BRZ I'd consider it. I still think the BRZ lights are better looking than the gt86 lights. The bumpers are marginal either way. I'm sure an equally equipped toyota gt86 would be cheaper though. ? If it's more expensive they can pound sand. |
