I also had gunmetal OZ's on my NSX back in the day so thought it would be nice to try something different. Only had a weekend with the setup so far, but I have driven quite a bit. I thought the springs and the lowering would give me a stiffer ride but it feels the exact opposite. My ride feels more comfortable than the stock. Bumps feel less sharp. I use the car as a daily driver...so very happy so far. Really hope the paint does not chip on these rims....seems like a common problem! |

Armrest
After going through the many options of armrest...I realized as nice as all the JDM and OEM versions are...well......essentially you are paying almost $200 for a leather pillow.
I found one that straps on to the cup holder and looks pretty nice on ebay. http://www.ebay.ca/itm/271331660278?...84.m1423.l2649 $20 with free shipping seems pretty reasonable. Should be receiving it any day now. And if you don't feel like using it..just take it off and throw it in the back. Yup its leatherette haha but the FRS isnt exactly loaded with leather so its hopefully good enough. Installed in my car now, driving with an armrest makes it so much more relaxing. $20 well spent! Tire Pressure Warning Light :(
Hmm, Got the tire pressure warning light. Not sure why, maybe they forgot to swap the TPMS from the stock wheels?
Interesting things happened. Unhooked the battery when I was installing the LED's a few times. When I finished the install I hooked the battery up and the Tire pressure warning lights was off. I am pretty sure I drove more than 50 miles yesterday and it hasn't come back on. Fingers crossed. Maybe that is a solution for the warning light if you do not have your TPMS sensors swapped to your new wheel. -----update----- Taking off the battery only disabled the warning for a short time and came back on. When I loaded up the stock wheels back in to the car to swap the sensors the light went off! Anyhow just got the sensors swapped to the new wheels. Last edited by Parappa; 09-15-2014 at 08:45 PM. LED Bezel Installed
Really excited to install the LED bezel lights today. Its been awhile since I have done any wiring in cars. Used to be really into audio systems when I was younger.....this definately brought back memories.
The install was quite easy. I tapped into blinker light. If you are facing the car the easiest side to work on is the left. Same side as the battery. Lots of open space. I couldn't find the non marring jarring tool....ended up using a plastic scraper tool instead to pry off the bezel gently, I had a cloth underneath so i wouldn't scratch the paint. Once you pull the blinker bulb out you will see three wires. Pink/Red - Tap the Power wire to this if you want the LED to blink or Green - Tap the power wire to this if you want the LED to turn on when parking lights are on. Black - Ground Headlight Power - Tap blue wire into the Headlight power if you want the LED to dim...Haven't tried it yet, might do this because the LEDs are pretty damn bright at night. I like this setup because you can turn off the LEDs when you are parked. |

Really love the LED strip, I feel it makes the car more up to date....the bezel quality feels OEM. Wish they came with the car.
