It’s the same. Paint code is DCK for both ignition red and track bread.

As answered above, they are the same color codes. What makes them look so different in various photos has more to do with the lighting, camera quality, etc. Several folks have mentioned now how hard it is to take a good picture of the red color, as it seems to come off "orange-ish" or other shades depending on a lot of different things. Everyone says it looks very good in person and the pictures don't do the color justice.

Can concur. It’s really hard to capture. Most photos show it more coral or more orange than it actually is, and generally fail to capture the full saturation. In person it’s one of the best reds I’ve ever seen.

It is quite an interesting red colour - probably one of the more dynamic ones I've seen. These are my favourite ones I've taken thus far (different light - completely different colour).

Basically its the JDM spec. Not sure why its different, but we usually get the JDM model.

Our GR86 hasn't been released yet (later this year) but rumours are that we will be getting the red carpet/side trim option that JDM get as well.

I don't get you - you've posted what appeared to be a photo-shopped GR symbol on the black fender vent insert on a red (presumably) GR86. Now you are posting a picture of something that appears to be a silver GR86 (from the seats) but has a BRZ door sill and BRZ mats (which I have never seen). WTF is going on?
