Doesn't work in that case, as it's not the power making it trip.

Afci's are more advanced gfci's. GFI's just compare power in vs. power out, too much of a difference(like someone getting shocked and making a new alternative path for power), they turn off.

Afci's work on voodoo and magic where they use basic computer logic that is supposed to detect a problem before it's really a problem. And it works just as well as that sounds, as devices turning on and off and changing power levels tend to look electrically similar to the wiring problems the breakers are supposed to protect and shut off for.

I haven't heard anything of late about it, but there were rumors flying for a little while about a policy to make the main panel breaker an AFCI... Would end up easier to just turn the whole house off when you're not using it...

..and it's orange. Nice.

Sadly, my Blackwing dreams are busted by the pricing, I'm more of a 5 year old used purchaser, although even that is shot in the current market.

If I were being honest, I still like the last CTS-V body style better, particularly with the carbon black options and the louvered hood.

If we were in a "normal" market I'd probably own one by now but they are still holding their value too well. A 2017 is still showing in the >$70K range.

I finally sprang for a 192 kHz digitizer to record my LPs. Now I'm grumpy looking at my vast collection of sonically inferior CDs.

Picked up a John Deere today. A little Ztrak 42", 23HP Zero turn with a cup holder. Way overkill for my yard. Grabbing the zero turn for an extra $500 over their traditional riding mower if solid future proofing. Probably cut the whole yard before my beer goes flat! I might even wake up Saturday at 8AM to enlist!

If you pull the badge off the front of that orange one I'd have a hard time recognizing it as a modern Caddy. The older/mid 00's lights like on the ATS and the CTS-V you posted seem more distinct and appealing.

You almost nailed it $122,500 is the final bid. Frankly the car isn't worth that much unless you plan to never drive it and then resell in five years.

That aggravates me beyond understanding.

Yep, I got the picture - it's good you got the zero-turn capability -

I've got a weird little 7' X 22' strip between a deck and the neighbors fence. The idea of having to drive down that and then back out pretty much sold me.
