Looks WAY the hell better without. Also, with spacers scrub radius is affected/increased, which gives a lot more unwanted and unnecessary steering input from road imperfections. Also, spacers increase leverage of the wheels on the suspension, decreasing effective stiffness (wheel rate). Only positive is *slightly* increased track width, but only 1%, the negative impacts on scrub radius and wheel rate are a lot bigger.

I'm getting my Nvidia Cat Back put on this week, while it's on the lift I'm going to check to see if there is any rubbing. So far none though... it's just a lot louder from 2 inches more of rubber on the ground.

Looks good man - where does it almost rub, up front at full steering lock against the wheel well or the OEM springs?

The tire is maybe 1-2 millimeters from the strut spring hat in front. No rubbing anywhere though even when wheels are locked left and right.

if you are adding 10mm spacers how come you didn't go for the 17x9 +35 RPF1s?

Because I have this problem where if I have money for car parts it literally burns a hole in my pocket. I stay up nights thinking about how to spend it.
![]() +35s were not available in black when I had the money in my hands. ![]() As it turns out, I don't like the look with the spacers either so +35 would not look good on stock suspension. So now I have an option of just doing some 3mm spacers in the front if rubbing becomes an issue. |

Looks great. Answers my question of +35 or +45. Just be careful when you lower it. I ate up my inner fender liners (on the inside) on 17x8+45s when I dropped to the minimum recommended ride height for KW V3s. Replacing the liners and raising ride height when I go to 17x9s. Enjoy the extra grip! ZIIs are monsters compared to the stock tires.

I'm shocked you have clearance with 9" +45 wheels, it looks like I have less than 13mm of space between my wheels/tires and the spring seat with 225/45's on 17x8's. I haven't actually measured it, but it felt like 10mm or less.
Glad it fits for you, but you'll need coilovers to run useful camber ![]()

Need to switch the rear wheels. Tread in those pictures is backwards?

Alignment? Front looks like you have positive camber... could just be the camera angle.
