I know that ride quality is somewhat subjective and after a while of driving in a lowered car you adapt. However based on your posts and annual mileage I would suspect we have the same preferences when it comes to lowering the vehicle. I like the slightly lower look but prefer the stock spring rates etc for normal commute and DD driving . Have no intention of racing the car, might pop into a couple of auto cross events but that would be no more than a couple of times. (I'm too old to care that some millennial+ is faster round a track)

I will add that after riding around in Ultra's car for several days mine has an ever so slightly rougher ride. Not much but it is there.

I've been a fan of RS*R in the past but you don't hear much about them with this platform.
I just had a dig and it looks like they do different rates for each model? The spring rates F3.2kg/R4.5kg for the 86 and F3.2kg/R3.9kg for the BRZ. Very interesting. |

Ok, I think my descion is going with the SCION FR-S SUPERDOWN SUS SPRINGS 2013-2016. I have one more question, what are the pros and cons of having your suspension at a different height from the rear and front, because this suspension allows you to do so. http://www.rs-r.com/product/scion-fr...-springs-2013/

What's wrong with the suspension that you have now?

Also do you really really absolutely must have that "super"down of more then inch drop? Why not a bit more reasonable drop w/o altering suspension geometry that much?

The .4 and .2 extra drop really don’t change anything much. This is especially true for a street driven car where you are not trying to tune suspension to lose a hundredth of a second on your lap time. I bet 99.999% of the drivers on the road will not ever be able to tell the difference.

Which of these look better to you? It looks like they are trying to maintain the characteristics of the stock cars? 86 version Front - 3.2kg Rear - 4.5kg BRZ version Front - 3.2kg Rear - 3.9kg |

RCE Yellows, crash/camber bolts, and a good alignment.
Keep the change and call it a day. |

Tein Flex Z would be a solid contender. Easy to install and offers a good range of adjustability. The benefit of going with a good coilover is that they have matched the damping and springs to provide a good quality ride. Just adding lowering springs can make the car ride and handle like junk
