I’m at an endurance race so I guess he didn’t get to it yesterday. Hopefully Monday!

Update: Oil pressure is too low at idle indicating an issue, so we are forgoing the dyno and pulling the oil pan to take a look at the oil pump and double check a few things.

so I got it back from the tuner after he told me he didn't feel comfortable with it. A little more clarification; the main bearning clearance is stock and the rod bearing is half a thousanth larger. The oil pressure is 24 or so cold but once to operating temp it is hitting 8psi. but at 5k rpm its around 60 psi, so am I missing about 20 psi everywhere? We are going to pull the oil pan tonight and take a look at the pump and a few other things. (huge pain cause I'm going to have to drop the subframe)

I'm curious how much of a pain the subframe drop will be for you. I still need to drill my oil dipstick hole and am thinking of the easiest way to fix that without pulling everything.

With that said, hope it's nothing difficult or expensive to sort out for you.

I emailed kpower and they said even they had not done it before! but we have a strut bar engine holder thing to keep the engine in place on the lift, but just a couple bolts, leave the steering rack in place and maybe the control arms too is the plan

Heartbreakers, every one of them.

60psi at 5k rpm seems ok though? I've always heard 10psi per 1k rpm as a good benchmark.

So the tech that assembled the motor didnt put the oil jet plug back in. This is what I suspected, and easy enough to fix after putting it on the lift and dropping the sun frame. Only took 3 hours total. Now I have 85 psi at idle cold haha!
