Engineering Modifications and Emissions
Hi,
I have a turbocharged 86 on E85 that I’m trying to get engineered. Has anyone been through the process? And what did you have to change to pass? I am located in Victoria and thinking of welding a second cat in some where then getting a detuned e85 map and doing the IM240 test. After that I assume just general engineering checks? Modifications relevant to engineering: SME turbo kit ID 1050cc injectors 340lph fuel pump Coilovers (100mm off the ground) Flex fuel zeitronix Invidia N1 (Can put stock catback on) T2 rotors Upgraded brake lines new project mu brake pads I know it may cost a few thousand all together but I’m happy to do so in order to relieve the anxiety of being defected, as I want to keep this car long term.
