Bang & Lazar Strut Tower Dust Covers for Coilovers / Camber Plates
This is more of a FYI for anyone that has looked/is looking for dust covers post coilover install than it is a review. There isn't much to actually review and they are just as advertised... a 3D printed cap to go over the strut tower if you have replaced the OEM suspension with coilovers and/or camber plates. And they have little artifacts and a seam on each one as expected and as notated in their description.
They do offer a few different colours and you can get them with different emblems/logos. If you happen to need additional space you can request the taller version when you checkout. They are based in Denmark and with all the shipping oddities because of CV19, I opted for the upgraded tracking that provided a tracking number. They took about 30 days to get here and that includes the 9 days they were stuck in Customs when they arrived at O'Hare from Copenhagen. I think that about covers it aside from some measurements and pictures. Oh! They are really tight so take your time and do as they suggest. I started with a blade perpendicular to the edge to scrape off little artifacts and stringy leftovers from the 3D printer. After that I did the suggested slow turns and pushed down firmly along the edges until they popped in. Bang & Lazar: https://banglazar.com/collections/gt...32836814831661 ![]() ![]() ![]() Dust Bowl ![]() I have the CSG Tein Flex A and the stem is above the edge by about 2cm with the rubber cap. ![]() Standard caps have 2.5cm of space between the underside of the cap and the stem. (3cm to the edge minus 5mm for the edge of the cap that goes into the strut tower) If your adjustment stem is more than 2.5cm above the tower edge, go with the taller version. ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by therealstoly; 05-01-2021 at 12:04 AM. |

Though a very simple idea, this is genius. It's been only a few months since I got my coilovers but the ball bearing in the top hats is already getting clogged with plant and insect crap. It's a great way to wear those parts prematurely by ruining the self lubrication of the bearing. Definitely getting this.

You MIGHT have trouble with some camber plates in conjunction with these.
Raceseng's actually have a portion that rises UP in the opening. Maybe you will be lucky enough to use them if there's enough space to let the lip of this do its thing. Other camber plates are perfectly flat and thus cause less of a problem. This ![]() vs Also, even if you have a flat camber plate your camber setting could be pushing the locking bolts right up to the edge of the opening (depends on the brand and your setting) but you could notch the lip. Just something to look out for. These aren't a bad idea but as the other guys mentioned, a lot of dirt comes from UNDER the plate. Still though, not a bad idea. |

I have no interest in these because track car.. but how easy are they to remove for adjustments? I like the clean look of them just curious on the level of pain in the ass for removal.

Pure bullshit and worst customer service. For my first order I received a wrongly packaged baby t shirt, they claimed to send a replace, but I never received. After menacing a PayPal claim I got my money back, so I bought another set.
Received, and they don't fit. They are about 1 mm bigger than the seat. |
