You sure you didn't do something wrong on the tranny when you did the TOB? Does the car actually go in neutral and roll when the clutch is pushed in?

Could you not test the starter while it's installed by bypassing the starter signal circuit and using a remote starter button? That would help you immediately localize the problem.

thats what i thought, car still goes into neutral tho. also we checked the transmission when we spun the crankshaft with a wrench.
