I don't know if it is an 86 lap record but I don't see anything listed for Arizona so I'll post this up for now. Will be at this track again next month with better tires and suspension upgrades so I expect the time to fall.

I managed a few good clean laps at Barbers last weekend with JTI and have regained the record! We have as 86 drivers been chipping away at the seconds on this track pretty regularly. Lets see how long this time holds up.
I was running the same NT01 tires I used for the last record here I set a year ago and while they are well past their prime still had some life in them. Someday Ill get a set of R7's and see how it goes.

FRS dedicated track car. TEIN flex Z, wilwood front BBK, OFT, added lightness.

2013 Scion FRS

Things finally came together for me at Road Atlanta and I beat the long standing 1:40.3 lap record. I had attempted it a couple times before and came within a tenth, but never pulled it off. My previous attempts had been on hot summer days which probably didn't help. I also have the car really dialed in now. After a day and a half of wet track, things dried off and my last three laps of the day were below the previous record. My last lap was the fastest and is shown in the VID.

Its a long list but not a lot of high dollar items. I tried make a fast reliable car without spending a ton of $$$.
Tein flex Z coils with 8K springs, OFT, $250 header and home fabricated "cat back" exhaust. Made my own splitter and diffuser and flat bottom and just added a big wang. Wildood BBK. I replaced many of the stock soft bushings with Delrin that I machined. Also mix of purchased and home fabricated and designed suspension components like swaybar and control arms.

It is a work in progress.

That is very quick. I was out there Wednesday, albeit in a nearly stock car, and ran 1:38.9. 👍🏼

Thanks. It wasn't a perfect lap technically, but it was a quick one. It was the first session of the day and the cool temps help my car quite a bit. Just realized I didn't list the time (1:31.5) in the original post.
