S-Tech ride height changed
H-Tech ride height and spring rate changed.
Now 2.9/4.8 (.60417 - see above post)
I think my initial info may have come from Tein Japan, so I updated the new specs on the list.

So...STX...STR.....BRING IT...Its amazing how much Decent suspension does to a car...Installation...I give a 6...the front was no problem..however the ABS and Brake line is routed kinda funky..but I adapted and overcame the Rear.. was a bit more stubborn...but I got it...finally.. Stock 14mm rear sway is on now..with Kartboy links..running Recommended settings for now.. went on a short 'test' drive... I can't wait to get this thing on the course now......I LOVE the KW's...easy to tune... and pretty easy to adjust....I was going to have an event tomorrow but I didn't get to the alignment ...so Monday after work...then I also need to corner weight it.....so far...I am absolutely Beyond pleased with the KW's...They Got it right....On to the pics..

Stock Front Strut assembly....12.6 lbs...
KW Front Strut assembly... 12.9 lbs...

Fronts.... adjusting the ride height..

Front ...After adjustment...about a 1 inch gap between the top of the tire and fender... Coool thing of note...All 4 fenders are Factory Rolled..so nooo issue whatsoever with fitment...

Obligatory Side shot..

and...the Side Profile shot...soooo Sexy..

Can't wait for Cent Divs Next week in Milwaukee.... running up our good buddy Neal Tovsen...and his wife in STX...should be interesting.. ...we'll see how it does against a well prepped Bimmer..

I emailed Megan about the minimum and maximum lowering amounts, and they replied that there are far more important specs to worry about (true) and that they didn't even bother to measure the two heights. Strikes me as a little strange, but we'll just have to wait for a consumer to report back to us.

How much would it typically cost to lower your cars and what kind of work is involved?

Need to have a professional do it?

Cheers

I just looked at the rates and wondered how this picture.

would look anything like a 1" inch drop more like 15mm at the most, and the 4.7 rear rate makes me wonder if this will get more tail happy than it already is?

I got my Tein H Techs in and in the instructions it says -25mm front and -20mm rear. I was hoping they were the new spec...

I called Tein. He was confused and told me the rate was what was listed online. Although the spring and literature recieved was 3/4.6 -25/-20.

why are most companies running such stiff rear coils???? Its almost hard to find a soft rear aftermarket coil, for those of us not trying to drift but rather keep the rubber from slipping? I drove the TRD coils this weekend and the rear was way too stiff. ride height ok, compliance-none
