After playing it for a little bit (I'm not even going to try and get the top times for the GT Academy thing) I've been impressed. It seems that some good strides forward have been made over GT5. Having driven a 350Z IRL it felt as similar as I think is possible with a controller can be and they updated the driving line to be more real time.
The tracks still look very impressive which shouldn't be a surprise to anyone, and after playing the demo I'm still pretty excited for the game to come out. |

So far so good with the GT Academy for me. I'm 136th in the US as of now, which is an improvement on my 433rd ranking last year. Going to be tough shaving a second off my lap time though.
The refined physics and suspension take getting used to, but I think I'm getting it down.

The physics definitely improved, it feels a lot more fun trying to get the best time in the GT Academy top 32. I am currently in 300th place right now, but that'll change as soon as the July 4 weekend is over and people got no life afterwards will jump on and demolish the competition

I've been a fan sing the original GT, and am overwhelmed at how much better the demo feels over GT5. I'm looking forward to spending lots of hours with the game.
On a side note, do any of you play with a wheel/chair combo? I'm in the market of a good set. |
