Yo, Lurker here since 2012. Have always loved these cars and have been looking to get one when the time was right. Stumbled upon @tuna selling his Hyperblue in the classifieds and decided to jump on it. The guy was great and with a 20hr road trip later, I got her home in one piece. Currently in the process of removing the added window rain guards and vortex generator that where adhered on and have an exhaust in the mail now to replace the muffler delete that is on the car currently.

My previous FR-S got totalled and I picked up this rebuilt BRZ last week. From what I can tell from this thread it was previously owned by @Jesika and used as a autocross car, I'd love to find out more about it and what happened for it to be totalled out.

Daily driver, road trips-350 mile RT commutes to LA

Thank you for compiling this list!
My first post to forum-
I'm 64 and have had about 18 Porsche, including a GT3 as a daily driver
putting on 27k miles in 18 months. So, I love to drive a driver's car.
This BRZ is the closest thing I've driven to the GT3 as far as "feel" of the car.
Sure it's slower but the driving experience in the real world is great.

Thank you Subaru for the incredible R&D you put into getting this car right.
If you know how to drive-it's enough power w/o turbo, etc. Balance is amazing.

My car is stock except for a 3" SS Perrin Cat Back exhaust which has a low rumble I love.

No tinny rattling or rasping I've heard on other exhausts and it's low-key. On start-up it
gets noticed, but not obnoxious. Glad the car had it already so I didn't have to fork over $

for it and do the install. I work on my cars myself for most things, suspension, brakes,

etc and am already impressed at how easy things come apart.

One bummer was pulling off the nose to replace the grill that had front license plate holes drilled into it. On other BRZ the center grill is removable, I didn't realize the Series Hyper Blue grill is one piece with nose and

I'd have to get a new nose AND grill, have the nose painted all to get rid of 2 small holes-so living with it for now.

Hello Everyone,

I own a HyperBlue BRZ that I bought new on Feb 3, 2016; she is #201 (last # of VIN: 446). I am considering selling it, but not 100% sure yet. I've made several modifications to it, yet kept it very comfortable and drivable. It started out as an STI build of sorts, but I've deviated a lot from that with some of the mods, which I think make it a better build in terms of both performance and looks.

It currently has only 17k miles on it and has always been garaged since the day I drove it home. I have an Excel spreadsheet with more detail about all the mods listed below, so if anyone is interested in the car, I can send you that spreadsheet along with additional photos and/or video. I still have some stock parts, though I've sold a lot, too, as I didn't see any point in saving them since the car looks and performs much better in my opinion the way it is now.

I can honestly say it has to be one of the cleanest and most well cared for HyperBlue BRZs, let alone any twin, out there. I hardly drive it and it mostly sits in the garage. It has seen one autocross day and one track day (Buttonwillow). I cover it with an indoor Dustop custom cover right after washing it; if it's not spotless, I don't cover it as I don't want to scratch it placing the cover on and off.

It could be a great car for someone who likes the mods and is willing to pay what the car is worth. I know I won't recoup all the money from the mods, but when you see the high quality they are (STI, TRD, AP Racing, JDL, Delicious Tuning, The Driveshaft Shop, Radium), some sort of allowance for them has to be made, considering the low mileage and almost nonexistent wear and tear on both the car and the mods. I had paint correction (it had some swirls and water spots) and a ceramic coating applied to the car in Nov '18 that really deepened the color and offers five years of protection to the paint if the car is garaged and maintained.

Fire away with any questions or to make an offer; I haven't set a hard price as I'm testing the waters a bit, but I will listen to any serious offer. I live in the San Luis Obispo area, but am open to meeting somewhere reasonable for anyone who is serious and wants to check it out, drive it, have a mechanic look at it, etc. Below are more photos and here is the list of mods.

Thanks,
Daniel

I'm curious as to why #240 485 is listed as wreaked or salvage. I just purchased it a last month and it comes up with a clean one owner carfax and was sold from a reputable dealer.
Carfax also shows it being serviced at two local dealers its entire life.

Oh, and pictures.
