Any FRS cars here compete in Time Attack?
Borla Exhaust is a proud sponsor of Redline Time Attack and a slew of FRS and 86 events this year. We've always worked with 86fest too and can't wait to show off the ITBs were putting on Antonio's car from MotorMavens. Looking forward to seeing you all at the shows and the track. Find us on Facebook.com/borlaexhaust or on Instagram @Borlaexhaust - feel free to message or DM there for a feature - always glad to have the 86 community supporting us and vice versa!
Borla Exhaust systems, front pipe, headers, and diffuser available now - or find us at the track and speak to our reps to see what we can do for your race car! http://www.borla.com/scion-fr-s-exhaust-systems/ |

Might get a better response in the racing subforum here:
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=39 Regardless, the following folks should know about any members doing time attack racing with an FRS/BRZ: @CSG Mike @raul @phastafrican @DeliciousTuning @MicheleAbbate @Evasive Motorsports @FT-86 SpeedFactory |

I've been summoned.
CSG will not be participating in Redline Time Attack with the 86 platform, but is highly active with 86CUP, the largest FRS/BRZ/86 time trial series in North America. |

No time attack here, just wheel to wheel spec racing.
SCCA Majors Tour (www.scca.com/majors) and US Touring Car Championship (www.ustcc.com) Here's my 2 cents on time attack for the FRS - The car is not fast enough to be competitive, even in the lowest of classes. I've been out of the time attack scene for about 5 years now but from what I've seen the car just doesn't fit well enough in any of the classes unless it is modified for more power (like FI, not an NA platform). Even as we campaign in the default SCCA class of STU with the FRS, it is still not classed correctly. It should be classed in STL, per the CCR's a stock FRS is classed in STU but an frs with a Jackson supercharger is also classed in stu.... I wrote a letter to the board about this in January - still haven't had a response

86 challenge (http://86-challenge.com) and NASA Time Trials in the Southeast and Florida. Wheel to wheel racing in NASA PTD.

86 Challenge and NASA TTD for me. There seems to be a mismatch between aftermarket manufacturers that want to support motorsports and the parts they make and their role in being competitive with the 86 platform. I love seeing companies make an effort to support the platform in motorsports, but most times their parts make our cars illegal in our respective classes, or spending points on them makes us less competitive. That being said, a Borla axleback would probably be something most of us would run without any significant penalties.
