I'm like this too. I have about 4 notebooks at work(because I can never remember where they are) and I don't think I ever reference them. Writing things down seems to help me remember things better. That is the primary reason I do it.

No wonder why software is still such a mess. Moore's Law is slowing down lately, so things will gradually start improving. Same in other areas where you don't have anymore low hanging fruits. I believe high-level education will be the only way to go in the future. The rest of the people will be left behind.

Bedslides are so handy when you are loading things by yourself.

that's a hell of a lot of wellfare recipients.

nothing says "the future" like having to pay $100 for a cheeseburger because everyone has to have a masters degree to work the grill.

You see the platform that is sticking out past the tailgate? It is on rails that slides in and out of the bed. Makes loading big or awkward objects easy. Don’t need to reach into the bed.

What do you consider .... "high level" education?

it works great until something gets knocked off the bed slide just in front of the wheel wells. even worse when that something is big enough to tip back onto the rail and prevent the whole thing from sliding back in...

Yeah you have to be a little more aware with it in the bed. We try not to load loose items in this truck. Usually just use this one for bulky or heavy items.

those boxes all tipped over at the slightest gasp of fresh air on the sides of them(most came to us with the corners crushed in during shipping), so without much more than a tarp under a few of my boxes of wire, i showed him how simply the stack would tip over and jam up the works of the bed slider at every available opportunity.

but i can definitely see how it works good for bigger items.
