My ideal high performance car would look like and be as practical as my E36 325i was, with the handling of my FRS, the sound of our Lexus LX470, and a ton of incredibly responsive power. Totally silent and no one would know by looking what exactly the car was capable of. The one thing I DISLIKE about the FRS is the way it looks. It's an eye-catching, attractive, aggressive looking car. I DON'T like that. If I could have found another rear-wheel drive, manual tranmission car that handled this well for the same money that looked more understated, I would have bought it, but I couldn't.

Every time I pull up in my car and someone asks me if I'm going through a middle age crisis, it rumples my feathers. Ain't no crisis.. I've been driving cars like this for my entire life. The only crisis is that, now, it LOOKS like I am. Grrrrr.....

Please excuse my ignorance, but I don't understand why a person would want to do this. Is this the sports car version of the very large loud big tired pick ups that some people drive in order to call attention to themselves? When I am driving with my wife and we get behind one of these attention whores she always has an explanation for the reason. I won't say it here but she says "why would a man want to advertise that". The ladies know what I'm talking about.

attention, being something else. there's entire genre's of media that portray similar.

instead of aspiring to be something else, act like that something else and gloss over the details.

I was at the track one day and there was a V6 Genesis holding up myself, and the Porsche ahead of me. It would backfire on decel so loud I could feel it in my car. I thought I had lost a DI seal or something

LMAO Flames. In days gone by when cars had carburetors, coils, points, and condensers I spent hours trying to get them to STOP popping and shooting flames.

Flames ----

KFC Hot & Spicy will do the trick. Ensure you watch until the end.
