Anyone thinking about lemon law?

I have been to the dealership 4 times with issues and my trade is sitting in the used lot. It has crossed my mind to lemon it and just get my old car back. Anyone else thinking about this?

My side mirror almost feel off the clutch pedal started sticking and my crickets fixed but they have just came back do that has to be redone and compared to some I've had it easy

Not sure how it is in AZ but in most states it has to have been in the shop for 3 or 4 times (depending on the state) for the same issue which still hasn't been resolved - or 30 consecutive calendar days or business days (again depending on the state). So if your state's laws are like most others you still have a little way to go to take advantage of the lemon law. Good luck!

I'm going to stick it out unless it really goes to crap. from what I have been told it really comes down to the lawyer with lemon laws all they have to do is prove that it is a big inconvenience to keep getting it repaired. Never done it just what I heard. But if I was some of theses people that have gotten the CEL problem multiple times It would be gone.

Mine made a weird sound going into second and then it didn't want to shift right. Others have had a stiff clutch pedal and I guy I work with has to pump the clutch on his so it will shift. According to the dealership these are all problems with the pedal assembly not the clutch itself.

According to A.R.S. § 44-1264, it is presumed that a reasonable number of attempts have been undertaken to conform a motor vehicle to the applicable express warranties under the Arizona Lemon Law if either:

1. The same nonconformity has been subject to repair four or more times by the manufacturer or its agents or authorized dealers during the shorter of the express warranty term or the period of two years or twenty-four thousand miles following the date of original delivery of the motor vehicle to the consumer, whichever is earlier, but the nonconformity continues to exist. or;
2. The motor vehicle is out of service by reason of repair for a cumulative total of thirty or more calendar days during the shorter of the express warranty term or the two year period or twenty-four thousand miles, whichever is earlier.

In order to apply this presumption a consumer must have given previous written warning to the manufacturer of the vehicle’s defect. The Arizona Lemon Law provides that these presumptions do not apply against a manufacturer unless the manufacturer has been given written notice from or on behalf of the consumer of the alleged defect and has had an opportunity to cure the alleged defect.
Meeting the Arizona Lemon Law’s presumptions is not required to have a valid AZ Lemon Law claim. With that being said, having either of the Arizona Lemon Law’s presumptions met is helpful because it shifts the burden of proof under the AZ Lemon Law from the consumer to the car’s manufacturer. This is an additional advantage that the Arizona Lemon Law provides consumers.

Applicable Statute of Limitations for the Arizona Lemon Law
The AZ Lemon Law’s protections are available in the first 2 years or 24,000 of a vehicle’s ownership and 6 months beyond that.

Yes Arizona and California both protect the consumers very well when it comes to these things I love the car but in the back of my mind I have thought lemon this one wait a year or two until they get all the bugs figured out and then buy one.

It has crossed my mind. Good to see the actual law. Based on the mile limitations I have about 4 more months to figure things out.

Of course I would get another FRS, hopefully get lucky with the next one.

Explain please? I only ask because when washing mine last week the mirror felt kind of loose. Not falling off loose, but you could feel it moving. Weird...

Yeah there is a TSB about it not sure about the number but the screws come loose in the joint they put some lock-tite on it and retorque the screws.

Yeah I really like the car but not to fond of all the issues I would be willing to wait a year for the next model!
