Possible Trading Program?

Hello everyone,

It occurred to me that there is a considerable amount of people changing their Scions to Toyotas. People in Japan are also doing likewise; changing their Toyotas to Scions. So I was wondering why there isn't a trading program. In my mind, it would help save money on stuff like headlights, steering wheel airbag assemblies, head units, etc. What do you guys think about this? I'm sure other people have thought of this too

I agree. I would be up to trading my scion airbag for a toyota airbag.

I'm surprised no one brought this up sooner.

Because not many of us speak Japanese and there would be an inherent risk in having to send something across the world to someone you can barely communicate with.

Very true. I know this is a stretch, but what if there was a middle man involved. Middle man does all the communication. Both parties send the trading parts to said middle man and when the middle man receives parts from both parties, they get sent out to their new owners. That way, there's some security in sending your stuff around the world. Just some food for thought
