Dead OEM fog light
I have the new OEM Scion fog lights, dealer-installed just a few weeks ago, and noticed last night that my passenger-side fog light is out.
Anybody else lose a bulb already? Seems much too soon to have burned out a bulb. Anybody look into replacement bulbs yet? |

There is absolutely no reason for this. If you can check the harness and wiring. If you can't take it to the dealer. If it's a burnt bulb, I would think it would be due to a poor install with greasy fingers.

Of course, these should actually be warrantied, but I'm not sure that I even want to bother going to the dealer. If I do, I might just take it to a different dealer. Not the greatest timing either. I'm heading out for a road trip for the weekend, LA to Monterey and back, and it will likely be cool and foggy up there. |

Ah crap, sorry Dan. I just ran out and checked, both of mine are good. I'm with you, sounds like an installation fault. Either way it's a warranty item. Annoying, but hopefully a drive on SR 1 will compensate. If you have the time, a stop at Nepenthe is memorable. Pictures please!

I ordered the fogs with the car, and wasn't charged extra for installation. They just got installed at the dealer because I had to wait for them (mostly wait for the 10 Series-specific button panel). I believe the charge was $490.

I just got my fog lights in from the Toyota parts warehouse. It came with everything you need to install them except for the instructions. That's no big deal i am just going to it to them and have them install in this Monday. I only payed 310 for the parts and i was told another 40$ for install.
I personally dont car to much for the yellow look of things so i am look to get matching hid lights for lows, highs and fogs . |
