What type of performance parts will you be looking to buy first?

Hey, just curious to see what kind of aftermarket performance parts everyone will be looking for first.

Header? (Equal length?)
Intake, exhaust?
Turbo kit?
Shifter?
Coilovers?
Tuning?

What's the first mod you're going to want to do?

Let me know if there's anything in particular you'd be looking for and if there's any specific features you would like included.

I'm sure people have been talking about this for quite sometime. This is for my own reference. I know what I'll be looking for, just want to see if everyone else is with me.

It will depend on how much TRD stuff I can get from the factory,

but myself being an automotive parts designer, i might be looking into designing a few parts for the car

Depends. First things first is reliability, then performance for me.

If TRD comes with a supercharger, I'd get that rather than some random turbo kit

I will be getting an intake and change the wheels and tires first thing though.

But why does TRD only give umpfff to trucks? Why not toyota's new sports car?

I'm confident they will.

Prefer Supercharger over the turbocharger? I'll definitely be looking into a turbocharger kit.

for this car i think supercharger is better for what i want out of it. if it does come with high compression (11.8:1 in the 2GR) then you're going to be boost limited anyways so why not go with supercharging? no lag and fitment is a non-issue. with the newest superchargers, you can still get 70+% adiabatic efficiency and make a lot more boost than old school blowers.

TRD supercharger nuff said i will be PLENTY happy with just that and well a good exhaust note, if the handling is as good as toyota promises i wont need coil-overs and enjoy my speed bumps on a day to day basis just like my celica

Suspension ( hopefully ohlins)
Wheels ( work and volks)
Then full exhaust
Then intake or turbo kit lol by then we'll see if I like the stock power levels

cuz the fucked it up with the tc. on the tc forums S/C guys are constantly having problems with it seals blowing shafts and mounts breaking. its rediculous. if they do SC i just hope to god they dont use vortec again because their stuff is trash.

Turbo, intake, intercooler, exhaust manifold for said turbo, beef up the rear suspension for the added power, shep trans, engine mounts that will hopefully move the engine even a little lower and further back, strip out the back seats, roll bar, 255s on the back 235s on the front, nice light wheels... proceed to the first track day fairly confident of the conquests to come.
