I really wanted bulbs I could replace for less than $1000 when they go out that didnt' require bumper removal and entire lighting assembly replacement so...

What are these? I rather like them :-D

Also just curious, what did you sell the LEDs for?

Vland makes the headlights.

I didn't sell the LEDs but they do sell for a mint. I just boxed them up. I don't like the idea of having to spend $1000 usd for a new headlight if one of the LEDs fails so going with these headlights that use $20 bulbs seems like a better idea to me. The light output isn't as good but it's not so drastically different than I'm bothered by it.

I recently did STI engine mounts and mtec shifter springs. The mounts did tighten engine response up a smidge and did reduce oscillation when getting onto the throttle which is good, and i feel no difference in nvh.

The shifter springs totally change the feel of the shifter and made everything feel much tighter, great mod. I also have the perrin rear shifter bushing. Would adding the whiteline transmission insert be too much for a daily driver alongside the perrin bushing?

btw, did you notice any decrease in shift rattle after installing the perrin rear shifter bushing?

I dont really have much shifter rattle before or after. Only time i get it really is when im in a lower gear, and i let off the throttle and coast at higher rpms.

Theres basically no downside to the perrin bushing imo.

Yes. It really does telegraph the vibration to the cabin. I'm actually planning to get rid of my insert and the bushing and just replace them both with an STI trans mount. Apparently that gives you the same benefits but without the associated NVH.

Then again, I have a 1 piece aluminum driveshaft currently, which does exacerbate the noise problem. Had to get rid of the diff bushings, it was getting to be too much and the driveshaft would vibrate as well.

Edit: forgot to add that I also have the Perrin engine mounts, which have a lot more NVH than the STI units from what I'm reading here

I did notice small NVH with the whiteline bushing insert via the trans. It's pretty miniscule but it is there at certain RPM. I notice it most around 2500.

Well worth the reduction in slop. STi mount seems like a solid alternative though the cost of the insert is good bang for buck.

WHAT DID YOU DO TO YOUR FRS TODAY?

Replaced my Sparco L360 with a Momo Montecarlo

The retainer plate for the horn button does not sit flush with the Splash hub, so I don’t have a horn, or a horn button and it’s quite annoying. I still like the look and feel of it regardless.

I am hoping that it's my eyes or my computer, but the wheel looks wonky...

If you want whine like a racecar then do it. If not skip the that combo and go for just one or the other but not both. It does break in and you get used to it. I have the same combo.

Finally have my custom brake air deflectors up and 3D printed - very happy with the additional cooling seen in testing so far.
