It is destroyed!

There I am at a wedding. Wearing my silk tie. I mingle for a few then head over to the chocolate fountain; there are strawberries and marshmallows on sticks. As I lean in to dip my mellow, my tie goes for a swim. Chocolate tipped red silk!

I had it dry cleaned. Big spot still. Threw it away.

I have a less than $50 tie rule. They get F-d easily.

Pee on it. Urine can sterilize germs.

Ugh. Blood is a pain to get out of silk! I'd just burn it and get a new one - less evidence that way too.
