MCA Street Performance or Tein Flex Z

Hi All,

Have being doing the rounds of reading up on coilovers to gather as much information as possible before purchasing some. I need to buy some as my new rims wont clear the stock springs.

I have been looking for some comfy yet good performing coilovers, as my BRZ is my DD and the drive to university is over 1 hour and that is one way. My budget is around 1800.

My research has primarily led me to these two sets for these reasons:

MCA Street Performance (Purple): Local (Australia based), and can provide a decent range of adjustability and a quality/comfortable ride. $2050 AUD.

Tein Flex Z: Japanese quality made, good level of performance. $1750 AUD.

I cant seem to find any Flex A sets in Australia, and the waiting list for Flex Z is over 6 weeks.

Has anyone had any past experience with these sets of coilovers that could provide some incite.

Cheers.

MCA for sure. They're a good product and when you call them they are awesome to deal with.

I love my tein flex z. just installed them yesterday. so super simple to install and so many great features. ride quality with dampers set at whatever they were shipped with is still responsive and less bouncy than my stock suspension.
