AC leak?

I noticed a weird chirping noise while driving on the highway today, it went away after a few minutes, I pulled over for gas shortly after and checked around to see if there were any obvious culprits. There was a fluid on the low pressure AC line, and a little pooled in the metal fitting. I'm curious, how hard is this to fix, and can I short term fix it with electrical tape heavily wrapped around it?

First off, I'd suggest you wipe the fluid off and see if it comes back.

If it does, I'd suggest you take it into a auto shop that does AC work and have them take a look it it. Maybe they will just replace the line and re-charge the system.

As far as "fixing" it with electrical tape, even Bubba doesn't think that would hold long.

Definitely. I'll have to wait and see.
