I know they said the fuel pressure isn’t correct, could it be something else leading to the fuel pump failing but not the part itself being faulty? Thanks for the help
Yes, you take the fuel line off the inlet and outlets sides, take out the two half inch bolts that hold it in place, look and see if the diaphragm is torn or cracked, hold the pump body with one hand and push on the plunger with the palm of your other hand. If it goes Uuugaa - Uuugaa the pump is usually OK. If not, it's time to make a trip to the junk yard (unless you have a spare from the junkyard in your trunk).

Oooooo - SHIT - wrong forum - strike those instructions me!

I mean so far i know, first owner went w the supercharger and something w the tune wasn’t doing good (flash tablet plug in tune), my guess is he went e85 without tune? So he sold the car for a steal w the modified parts to the second owner which i bought it from, the second owner didn’t expect anything to go wrong, drove it hard, blew the engine... swapper a new fa20, went to the tuner to get new ecu and tune and it seemed like a temporary fix and sold it to me when it was running ok... and im the idiot whos in this shit hole lmao

Meh I don't care which. The car is at a shop where they can actually see what is going on.

Low pressure pump send fuel to the high pressure pump that forces it through the injectors.
No idea which if either is the problem with yours.

Is low pressure pump and high pressure pump one thing together ?or is it two different location,as far as i know, they are going to replace the one under the backseat inside the fuel assembly, idk if that is high pressure or low pressure because i thought there’s one physical fuel pump inside the car

Low in trunk
High in engine bay.
High is the source of the "cricket" noises you have probably heard of.

There are two fuel pumps, an electric low pressure pump and a mechanically driven high pressure pump.

Edit: Tcoat beat me to it.

Ok then they are replacing the high pressure fuel pump because they called me today saying the pump they r going with is dw300c or something like that, i looked that up its like the physical thing in the fuel assembly, idk if they are aware of the need to change the low pressure one? Maybe they assume i know what they are talking about and with their test data they found out the low pressure sends signal to high pressure about the mass air going in , and the high pressure fuel pump didn’t do its job and inject the amount of juel requested. Ya but is there a fix to the cricket sound? Its definitely not something I noticed a lot, i think the first owner did the exhaust super loud to cover that sound but when sometimes im going from neutral to first before going to high gears or slowing down in low gears i hear the cricket sound coming from the passenger side air van area
