OEM vs. Whiteline camber bolts - Toyota GR86, 86, FR-S and Subaru BRZ Forum & Owners Community

I dropped my car on Eibach Prokit springs a few weeks ago and I'm about to get an alignment and camber bolts installed. Not sure if I should get the OEM crash bolts (14 mm and fits on bottom hole, right?) or Whiteline/SPC (16 mm and fits on top hole, right?). I'm not tracking the car. Also, if I go OEM does it matter if I get the Subaru part for an FR-S? Thanks.

How much camber do you want/need?

OEM: 14mm bolt for top hole. Will get you about -1
Whiteline: 16mm upper will get you -1.5 or so
SPC: 14mm for bottom hole. will get about -1.5 (bonus: the bottom bolt you removed is the OEM crash bolt. You can now move that to the upper slot and get -2 to -2.5 degrees when using it with the SPC)

Subaru or Toyota doesnt matter for OEM. Get whatever is cheaper

If I have both Whiteline and SPC, does that mean i will be able to get -2 to -2.5 degrees of camber as well then? Or more now that the whiteline is up top?

Ordered the whiteline one but i'm not installing it till spring, if thats the case I'll order an SPC one for some more camber on stock suspension

it is my understanding that running 2 eccentric bolts like that increase the risk of slipping. i think someone on here has run it before but not sure what their numbers were

I am better off just running the whiteline bolt then?

If thats the case I'll just do that and when I get coilovers I'll get the SPC bolts and use the stock ones up top.

that would be my reccomendation. im not a pro but I did a lot lf research to do things right for once on this build. That sounds good on the couls, just make sure the hole is slotted that put the spc in
