I had an evolving fleet of old German cars for about 10 years. Got sick of the maintenance, sold what I had at the time and started over with a beater Mk2 Supra and a '79 CB650. Last year I moved from the Supra to my newest car ever ('02 WRX) and now planning to get my first new car as soon as the FR-S comes out. Looking forward to it as a daily, canyon cruiser, road tripper, and possible track car.

Hey everyone, I'm pretty new here and I'm already obsessed with the FR-S/BRZ.
I am excited about this car but I'm not ready for the 4 or 5 month wait. Realistically, I know it may be longer considering the allocations.
I sold my 135i (dinan stage 1) and am just waiting for this car to come out. The 135i was a blast to drive but the warranty was almost up and we all know about the fuel pump recall. Even with the 6yr 100k fuel pump warranty, who wants to be broken down on the side of the road. Anyhow, I'm really looking forward to tracking this car and doing autocross events. I want a NA, lightweight sports car that i can fit in and this looks to fit the bill, including cost and reliability.
Great forum and everyone seems to be polite. No haters! Can't we all just get along...
