I'm Running Cobb AP stage 2..she's FAST...but the handling is a little too floaty..the stock dampers arent firm enough for even the STOCK springs..
![]() haha, i had similar suspension plans for the WRX, but i want the FR-S so badly, i've decided i'm not spending another dime on it right now..lol

Hey everyone! Newbie here. I'm Mike, I live in Colorado so lots of nice pass roads. I've been a VW/Toyota guy for the last 10 years. I've been a member of VWvortex.com since 99. I've owned everything from a 85 4Runner, GTI's, Corrado's. I currently dive a Subaru wagon, nothing fancy just a daily beater.
I'll be buying a BRZ and can't wait. Some pics of past rides. ![]() ![]() |

To be honest, I haven't paid close attention to the FR-S/BRZ until recently.
I guess I didn't want to get my hopes up, especially if the car didn't make it into production. Now that it is coming out, I'm really excited. The GT 86 is the car that I've always wanted. From a Honda family my dream car was an S2000; awesome engine, great 6 speed and lasting heritage. But I didn't really care for the convertible. Once I owned the S2K it was great, but it wasn't very practical. The GT 86 seems to have most of the good things about the S2K but with more practicality and better gas mileage. Now my biggest choice is whether to get the BRZ or FR-S... ![]() |

Hi, I'm Matt and I just found the page recently and look forward to doing some reading and researching about such an exciting production car that's autocross, daily-driver, safely supports a toddler seat (w/ LATCH!), and budget friendly.
I've been racing autocross in NC for about 9 years and am a VP for the Tarheel Sports Car Club (check us out: www.thscc.com ) and plan to race my '08 Si again next year. I hope to make it to a couple more SCCA National Tour events in GS, but I'm considering the purchase of a FR-S in about a year to compete in '13. Who knows what class these will be in but I'd imagine it being a CS contender moreso than DS, but we'll see. Any other prospective buyers thinking about how much fun this thing is going to be on the autocross course? ![]() cheers, Matt McGrain Raleigh, NC ![]() ![]() |
