Hi,

Becca from CT. First saw a BRZ on my local dealer's lot in 2013. Drove by every day looking. Finally stopped to stare. One fantastic salesman let me drive one for giggles, even though I told him I cant buy it. Wanted to believe it wasn't a pipe dream. Here I am in 2020 driving a dealerspecial 2017 86 860 Special Edition in Solar Orange. Bought it technically new with only 8k miles. Sat in the showroom for 2 years and was a loaner for a few months then more sits.

Love my 86.

Hello,
Stonehorse from Michigan. Still did not find my twin (triple?), but I hope I can find something that fits my need/budget next year begin.

So far, I am reading the builds and other sections to learn a little about the platform, this forum is a really good source of info.

Thanks

Hiiiii

Hey guys!

Fairly new owner here! Got an 86 early May this year, loving every bit of it (even stock.. I know, shocker right?)

Got a few parts and a Tune on the way. I expect I'll meet more of you in the other sections of this forum when I get stuck or when I need some inspiration/advice!

Thank you to HaichiRoku for the forum!

Most will say stay lock for a bit. Easy things to recommend are exhaust and wheels.

Hello!

Got my 2019 86 back in september of last year. Been enjoying the car so much and learning lots as I tinker around with it. As this is my first "sporty" car, I've never realized how much of a blast driving is.

Currently, I'm looking into gaining more camber in the front with top hats.

Glad to be part of a new community. Lots of modified Miatas and other rear wheel drive platforms in the past. Just got my 2015 FR-S with an AVO turbo kit. Looking forward to finding some backroads for weekend cruises. I always enjoy reading the forums to gather information on something new. Looks like a good community here with lots of knowledge to share.

Where should a new member post or more succinctly - go about posting? A friend of mine joined and the new member thread states he must first respond to existing threads before he can post, however the forum isn't allowing that to occur.

Thoughts?

iirc new member just need to do 2 things.
1. Verify their email/account & 2. Post in any thread to become official member.

I’ve been member here over a decade, so unless admin (Hachiroku) have change that rule... idk

May be lack of email verification. I’ll pass it along
