It is unique how the hood is a large single piece continuous with the top of the front fenders, or how the rear glass has a bezelless design. These things have probably been mentioned already, but I never really noticed.

I really hate those side mirrors. Would've loved to have them on the doors like the MK4. Other than that, looks pretty good. Not as aggressive as I thought but good enough.

I'm curious if the two piece door was an engineering necessity or if it was a design, so that they could change it for something more aggressive, either as a TRD accessory or as a special edition.

The second thing I thought of was that the A beam is black and so are the mirrors. If they were on the door then maybe it would look weird. I dunno. It would be cool to see a photoshop of the alternative.

BMW probably designed the interior here whereas in the 86/BRZ it's very Toyota.
Actually this entire car is very BMW inside and out. Last edited by krayzie; 01-13-2019 at 09:56 PM. |

Electronic parking brake. Blugh. And wow, the presets spanning the dash... I can't even. What??
Glad this isn't a car I had hoped to buy! |

Physical controls are always a plus, but they seem redundant because there is the MMI (if it is a touch screen), the MMI control knob/selector console and the steering wheel controls. I guess they are there for the passenger.

looks good to me. yeah sure there can be some improvements here and there, but overall nicely done. will look even better with a drop, aftermarket wheels and mirrors. i know some people are thinking of even seeing if the ones from the old E89 Z4 will fit.
