I'm pretty sure the road that goes through the park is much nicer than the one that is routed...

Edit: The Salt Lick in driftwood is BYOB and is leagues better than the one in Round Rock FYI. Driftwood is a good choice.

Yeah I know the other route would have probably been better scenery but I was trying to make the ending destination a place where we could sit down and grab a good bite to eat. If anyone knows of some better roads to take while getting to the same ending destination, I'm all for it. I'm from the DFW area and am doing my best without actually being in or from the area.

All feedback and input is appreciated.

Looks like fun! I'm in.

Feedback: En route to Driftwood...is there a spot (or two) we can pull over briefly for some pics / pit stop / etc.? Unfamiliar with the drive so maybe some Austin folks can chime in. When we do the 3SIST3RS runs the lead car usually makes the call of where/when to pull over so doesn't necessarily have to be set in stone other than being a safe spot and scenic is always a plus for backdrop to pics.
